Dead by Daylight’s Chorus of Sin Early Access Will Open Through Twitch Drops

Players who watch one hour of eligible streams can enter a random draw for one of 4,500 PC invitations across access windows running from July 30 through August 1.

Dead by Daylight‘s Chorus of Sin chapter will begin its Early Access promotion on July 30, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. ET. Behaviour Interactive is giving players a chance to enter the build through Twitch Drops before the chapter reaches the Public Test Build.

The developer described the chapter as a community-built project shaped over more than a year of votes through The Grimoire. Selected Dead by Daylight creators will stream the new content, and watching an eligible stream for one hour will place viewers into a pool for a random invitation draw. The full announcement is available through the official Steam announcement.

Watching for one hour does not guarantee access. Players who are selected will receive an email at the address connected to their Behaviour Account. Access is tied to that account and cannot be shared.

How to enter the Chorus of Sin Early Access draw

  • Play Dead by Daylight through Steam on PC.
  • Create a Behaviour Account, if needed.
  • Link the Behaviour Account to Twitch.
  • Watch one hour of a selected Dead by Daylight creator’s stream while the “Drops Enabled” tag is active.
  • Opt in to communications from BHVR so the invitation email can reach you.

To find eligible broadcasts, open Twitch’s Dead by Daylight browsing page and look for channels showing the Drops Enabled tag. Players can set up or link their Behaviour Account through BHVR’s account page.

Draw times and Early Access windows

Five draws will take place between July 30 and July 31. Thursday’s draws are scheduled for 12:00 p.m. ET and 5:00 p.m. ET. Friday’s draws will take place at 9:00 a.m. ET, 12:00 p.m. ET, and 5:00 p.m. ET. Anyone who remains eligible without being selected will stay in consideration for the later draws.

If selected, players can access the build during the following windows:

  • August 1: 8:00 a.m.–11:00 a.m. ET and 12:00 p.m.–4:00 p.m. ET

The promotion is open in regions where Dead by Daylight is playable, although access spots are limited by server rollout and testing requirements. Participants must be at least 18 years old, have linked BHVR and Twitch accounts, and hold a valid Steam account. No purchase is required.

The promotion period runs from July 30 at 9:00 a.m. ET through July 31 at 3:59 p.m. ET. Each eligible Behaviour Account can receive a maximum of one entry. The promotion offers 4,500 invitations to the PC version of the Grimoire Public Beta Test.

What to expect from Early Access

This build is an early version of the chapter and may include bugs, missing features, or incomplete translations. Feedback from Early Access will be combined with feedback from the PTB, but it will not be used to make changes before the PTB begins.

Dead by Daylight

Trapped forever in a realm of eldritch evil where even death is not an escape, four determined Survivors face a bloodthirsty Killer in a vicious game of nerve and wits. Pick a side and step into a world of tension and terror with horror gaming's best asymmetrical multiplayer.

Survivors play in third-person and have the advantage of better situational awareness. The Killer plays in first-person and is more focused on their prey.

The Survivors' goal in each encounter is to escape the Killing Ground without getting caught by the Killer - something that sounds easier than it is, especially when the environment changes every time you play.
