Fortnite Will Give Players More Time to Hunt Sprites Between Storm Circles
The first two circles will return to their original timing, while later circles receive a more measured set of changes ahead of the v41.30 update on July 30.
Fortnite will adjust its storm circle timings again ahead of the v41.30 update arriving on Thursday, July 30. The changes follow player feedback that the recent late-game trial left too little time to hunt Sprites.
Storm circles one and two will return to their original timing. Circle three will start closing sooner than before, but it will move more slowly, leaving players with the same total time to rotate. From circle four onward, the faster timing will remain in place.
Fortnite Status said Epic heard players wanted “just a bit more time to hunt Sprites upfront.” The revised pacing will give players three storm cycles with more comfortable timing for searching the island before the pressure increases.
That should help players looking for the Peely and Llama Sprites without completely undoing the faster late-match pace. Anyone who gets distracted while searching can still expect circles four and later to close more quickly, so carrying extra shields remains a sensible precaution.
