The Call of Duty: Warzone Resurgence Series Championship at the Esports World Cup 2026 will begin on July 30 in Paris, France. The four-day event features 32 teams competing across three stages for a $1 million prize pool.
Twisted Minds will enter as the defending champion with Almond, Blazt, and Shifty. Team Falcons will be one of the main teams to watch after Hisoka, Newbzz, and Dongy won the DreamHack Birmingham and DreamHack Atlanta WRS events.
Warzone EWC 2026 schedule
The championship will run from July 30 through August 2. Its schedule is divided into the Group Stage, Survival Stage, and Match Point Finals.
- Group Stage: July 30 to August 1, with 12 matches per group

Group Stage match times
Group Stage matches on July 30 and July 31 will begin at 9:00 a.m. ET / 3:00 p.m. CEST / 11:00 p.m. AEST.
- July 30: Matches 1 through 6. Haven’s Hollow will host Matches 1 and 2, Rebirth Island will host Matches 3 and 4, and Fortune’s Keep will host Matches 5 and 6.
- July 31: Matches 7 through 12. Haven’s Hollow will host Matches 7 and 8, Rebirth Island will host Matches 9 and 10, and Fortune’s Keep will host Matches 11 and 12.

The 32 teams are split into two groups of 16. Group A includes CCF, CT Gaming, Ekletyc, FaZe Clan, First Squad, Geekay Esports, Gen.G Esports, NOVO Esports, PBJ, Ravens Esports, T1, Team Heretics, Stallions, Team Vitality, Twisted Minds, and Virtus.pro.
Group B includes AG.AL, Fnatic, For Fun Esports, G2 Esports, Gamax Esports, Gentle Mates, GodLike Esports, JD Gaming, KGV, Leviatan, New Icons, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Team Falcons, Team Nemesis, Team Orchid, and The Vicious.

Format and advancement rules
Each group will play 12 matches. The top five teams from each group will advance directly to the Match Point Finals. Teams that finish from sixth through 13th will move into the Survival Stage, while the remaining teams will be eliminated.
The Survival Stage will feature 16 teams across 10 matches. Its top six teams will claim the final spots in the Match Point Finals, joining the 10 teams that qualified directly from the groups.
The Finals will not have a fixed match limit. Teams become Match Point Eligible after reaching the required points total, with that status taking effect in the following match. The first eligible team to win a match will become the champion. Once the winner is decided, the other teams will be ranked by their total points.
Standings and results
No match results or points were available yet when this article was published. The Group Stage will determine which teams advance directly, which squads must survive the August 1 elimination stage, and which competitors leave the event.
The champion will receive $250,000 and 1,000 Club Points. Second place will earn $150,000 and 750 Club Points, while third place will receive $100,000 and 500 Club Points. Fourth through eighth place will earn $72,000, $55,000, $45,000, $35,000, and $30,000 respectively, with Club Points ranging from 300 to 50.
Places ninth through 28th will receive between $27,000 and $7,500. Teams finishing 29th through 32nd will not receive a listed prize payout or Club Points.
