Marvel Rivals’ Age of Ultron Event Will Begin July 30 With a New PvE Mode
The Path to Doomsday chapter will send teams into Avengers Tower to battle Ultron's army, with the start time still based on previous release patterns.
Marvel Rivals will continue its Path to Doomsday series with the Age of Ultron event on July 30, 2026. This chapter will replace the previous Avengers event’s 1v6 format with a player-versus-environment mode set in a new Avengers Tower map.
The event is part of the buildup to Avengers: Doomsday, which is scheduled to release on December 18, 2026. The first Path to Doomsday chapter focused on the original Avengers film, but the next installment will center on the second movie and its robotic threat.
What to Expect From the Age of Ultron Event
The new mode will have players team up against Ultron’s forces while fighting through Avengers Tower. That makes it a different setup from the first chapter, which used a 1v6 game mode.
NetEase will also add movie-inspired store bundles for Scarlet Witch and Ultron when the event begins. The event is expected to run for a limited period, although an end date has not been announced.
A first look at the Avengers Tower map was shared on July 24, showing the location that will host the new PvE chapter.

Marvel Rivals Age of Ultron Start Times
NetEase has not confirmed the event’s exact launch hour. Based on earlier release patterns, the Age of Ultron chapter is expected to begin at 3:00 a.m. PT on July 30, 2026. Since the event includes new cosmetics for the store, its Thursday launch falls outside the game’s usual Friday update schedule.
