War Thunder is taking its screenshot competition to the water. The 234th edition asks players to capture amphibious vehicles, with seaplanes and naval vehicles also eligible, before the July 31 deadline.
Gaijin Entertainment announced the contest through an official Steam announcement. Players must upload a new screenshot to the War Thunder Steam Community Hub and use #WTscreen234 as the title. No other text can appear in the title.
How to enter
The image must include an amphibious vehicle, although seaplanes and all naval vehicles are accepted as well. The contest encourages participants to look around waterways and under bridges for unusual compositions.
Entries must be the artist’s own work and cannot have appeared in an earlier competition or publication. War Thunder only accepts raw in-game screenshots. Outside editing software and visual enhancements such as Nvidia Ansel filters are not allowed, but built-in filters, game settings, and the replay feature can be used.
The competition participation page contains the submission details. Entries remain open until July 31, 2026.
Six winners will receive 300 GE
After submissions close, three winners will be chosen through community ratings and three more will be selected by the judges. Each winner will receive 300 Golden Eagles. Artists can win through the popular vote only once every four screenshot competitions, and rewards will be delivered within 14 working days.
Gaijin also shared the winners from the previous, 233rd competition, which focused on vehicles firing their weapons. The community-selected entries were the first screenshot, the second screenshot, and the third screenshot.
The judges selected one winning entry, another winning entry, and a third winning entry. Each of the six winners received 300 GE.
