Xbox Free Play Days is offering five games to try during the week of July 23, with access split between Game Pass members and all Xbox members. The lineup includes Tides of Tomorrow, Metal Gear Solid – Master Collection Version, For Honor, Bleach Rebirth of Souls, and Killing Floor 3.
According to Xbox Wire’s Free Play Days announcement, Tides of Tomorrow and Metal Gear Solid – Master Collection Version are available to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, and Essential members from Thursday, July 23, through Sunday, July 26. Metal Gear Solid – Master Collection Version will remain available for one additional day, through Monday, July 27.
Games available with Game Pass membership
Tides of Tomorrow is an adventure set in a post-apocalyptic world made up of floating settlements. Players take the role of a Tidewalker while a disease called Plastemia threatens what remains of the living world. The game features a Story-Link system that changes how the world responds based on the player’s choices. It is optimized for Xbox Series X|S.
Metal Gear Solid – Master Collection Version follows Solid Snake as he infiltrates Shadow Moses Island after FOXHOUND seizes a nuclear weapons disposal facility. The story centers on Snake’s confrontation with Liquid Snake, along with themes involving genes, fate, conspiracy, and betrayal. This version is also optimized for Xbox Series X|S.
Free for all Xbox members
Bleach Rebirth of Souls is available to all Xbox members without a Game Pass subscription. The action game features Ichigo and other characters from the anime, with sword battles built around character abilities and powerful awakenings. It is optimized for Xbox Series X|S.
Killing Floor 3 is also open to every Xbox member. Its current offering features Season 4 – Operation: Shadow Hunter, including a Nordic North Sea oil rig setting, the Gunslinger perk with dual-wielded pistols and gadgets, Dr. Moorcroft as a boss, and a new “Suicidal” difficulty between “Hard” and “Hell-on-Earth.” The game is optimized for Xbox Series X|S.
For Honor has the longest access window in this group. All Xbox members can play it from Thursday, July 23, through Tuesday, August 4, without a Game Pass subscription. The melee-focused action game lets players fight as warriors from several different factions.
