Apex Legends is giving solo players a new way to find teammates during Split 2 of Season 29. The official Steam announcement invites players to introduce themselves and look for squadmates with similar habits and goals.
The idea is simple. Players can post a short profile in the recruitment thread, then connect with others who fit their preferred way to play. Whether you want a coordinated Ranked team, a relaxed Pubs group, or a squad that communicates through pings, the drive is built around finding a better match than a random fill can provide.
What to include in your recruitment post
The announcement asks players to share the following details:
- Server region
- Platform
- Preferred mode, including Ranked, Pubs, Wildcard, or Mixtape
- Current rank
- Usual playing days and times
- Main Legends
- Whether you prefer hot drops or safer looting locations
- Playstyle, such as aggressive, balanced, passive, or focused on reaching the final ring
- Preferred team communication, including voice chat, pings, or text chat
That information should make it easier to find players who line up with your schedule, skill level, favorite modes, and approach to each match. A squad built around compatible playstyles can also make the Outlands a little less chaotic when the first fight starts.
Share your details in the recruitment thread and see which players could make a good fit for your next squad.
