Red Dead Redemption 2 has just released on PC, with tons of mods arriving to diversify the core gameplay. Well, that’s nothing new to a Rockstar Games’ title, as GTA V is overflooded with mods at this current time. Red Dead Redemption 2 is slowly catching up and already has plenty of mods on its tail. A fan-made Zombie mod is coming to Red Dead Redemption 2, summoning the post-apocalyptic aspect in the game.
Red Dead Redemption 2’s environment is fitting for this sort of zombie mode. Sadly, these zombies do not bite, but they claw, as first introduced in the introducing video. According to IGN, the modders are using a Discord channel to coordinate themselves on the progress.
Arthur has to fight against the zombified NPCs to cleanse the evil within. The cause and creation of zombies are dynamically and could happen within each town, whether it is visiting a bar or playing a game of poker.
