July’s PlayStation Plus Catalog Brings Pandora, Samurai Battles, and More

Rise of the Ronin is available on July 15 in the US and UK, while Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and Firefighting Simulator: Ignite arrive globally on July 21.

PlayStation Plus members have a packed July ahead, with Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Rise of the Ronin, Firefighting Simulator: Ignite, and several other games joining the Game Catalog. PlayStation outlined the full lineup in its official July announcement.

The release schedule varies by region. Rise of the Ronin is available on July 15 in the US and UK, followed by Japan on July 16. The rest of the lineup will arrive on different dates, with the full catalog available on July 21 in all other regions.

PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium games

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora comes to PS5 globally on July 21. Ubisoft’s first-person action-adventure game takes players to the Western Frontier of Pandora, where a Na’vi character reconnects with their heritage after being raised by the RDA. The campaign centers on working with other clans to protect Pandora from the corporation.

Team Ninja’s Rise of the Ronin is a combat-focused open-world RPG set in Japan during 1863. Players take control of a nameless warrior during a period of war, disease, and political unrest, with the story allowing them to determine their own path through the upheaval.

Firefighting Simulator: Ignite will be available globally on July 21. The PS5 game places players in the role of a firefighter working across a city in the American Midwest. Missions feature real-time fire, heat, and smoke, with support for cooperative play with up to three friends or an NPC crew.

On July 28, members in the US, UK, and Japan can play Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind on PS5 and PS4. The 2D brawler follows Robo Rita and Rita Repulsa as they attempt to rewrite the Power Rangers’ history.

The July 28 additions also include Dying Light for PS4, Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector for PS5, and Snow Bros. Wonderland for PS5. Dying Light offers zombie survival and cooperative play, Citizen Sleeper 2 combines crew management with tabletop-inspired RPG systems, and Snow Bros. Wonderland uses a 3D isometric format built around turning enemies into snowballs.

PlayStation Plus Premium classics

Premium members will receive two PS2-era titles on July 21. Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy follows psychic agent Nick Scryer, who uses abilities such as telekinesis, mind control, and pyrokinesis while investigating a conspiracy within the Mindgate Project.

Indigo Prophecy, known as Fahrenheit in some regions, is the first interactive drama from Quantic Dream. Its story follows a series of murders in New York City and asks players to uncover the supernatural forces behind them.

PlayStation noted that Game Catalog and Premium lineups can differ by region. Members should check the PlayStation Store on each game’s release day for local availability.
