Overwatch 2’s PvE Will Be a Huge Game Changer

For a PvE focus, this may bring a lot of excitement in the Overwatch universe, and Overwatch 2 might be the real deal when it comes out. During BlizzCon 2019, we have found what Overwatch 2 is going to introduce, but the impact of the PvE focus remains unknown. The abilities shared among Heroes used against AI-controlled opponents and mechanics may be more surprising than ever.

If you look into Blizzard and their success with WoW as a whole, especially during the days when Jeff Kaplan was responsible for the title before he becomes the lead designer for Overwatch, its success is pretty much undeniable. Jeff Kaplan is no stranger to PvE mechanics and diversifying elements that could lead to solid entertainment. Namely, the first discovery of the cinematic states a firm control over the project, including Blizzard’s genius approach when it comes to making introductory video materials.

This would also kill the monotony found in PvP only game modes, which sometimes lead to exhaustion and boredom. Not to mention the addition of new heroes coming to Overwatch 2 at launch.

According to what we’ve seen at BlizzCon 2019, the story of the game will carry on following the call to arms from Winston, which could envelop a diversified continuation of the story at a later stage.

Co-Op story missions are widely welcomed in multiple other video games, whereas a player you need to outcome a potentially overwhelming encounter that could require a lot of dedication.

Without an official release date, Overwatch 2 may surprise the fans even more by stating a rather earlier than later publishment.

I've spent half of my life playing video games, ever since the competitive 1.6 era. Now I am happily married to Margarita Kicevski, and have two beautiful children. My goal is to deliver fresh news and updates, but most of the time I want to work on guides. Since I have rebooted this website, I am planning on making it huge. Just you wait!
