The First Descendant used its July 2 anniversary broadcast to lay out the rest of 2026, and the timing lines up with Patch 1.3.33, which is already live on Steam, PS5, and Xbox.
The clearest story thread is Season 4: The Great Clash. Karel is pushing the war into Ingris, Albion is heading into open conflict, and Nexon said the season will also keep working through the wider mystery around Amon and Magister.
The second-half roadmap stretches from July through December. July 15 brings Void Intercept Battle: EXTREME, a permanent mode that merges Hard Void Intercept and Void Abyss Intercept into one structure with multiple difficulty tiers and Critical Point settings that can change the fight. Nexon said more detail on that update will come in the July Dev Note before the patch arrives.
The August 20 update is the big one. It will bring Season 4, Mega Dungeon, Raven, Transcendent Weapons, Trials, and the EXTREME leaderboard. Raven is a shotgun-focused firearm Descendant with crows in her kit, while Transcendent Weapons add 11 new weapons or upgrades with quality-based rolls. Trials is built around repeatable runs, faster choices, and build growth.
September adds Ultimate Hailey and Cradle of Evolution, October follows with new Transcendent Weapons and Trigger Modules plus a Freyna balance pass, and December closes the year with Colosseum-A, Ultimate Jayber, and Nell Skill Modules. Colosseum-A will mix a 3v3 structure with a twist, since a Descendant can turn into a Colossus and push into the opposing side.
The anniversary event slate also starts today. Players can clear 2nd Anniversary Challenges, spin BB-On’s Dice Run, spend tokens and attendance mementos in the anniversary shops, and take advantage of the 50 percent growth boost, Research Week, Ancestors Module Enhancement Week, and Dismantle Ancestors Module Week. Nexon also shared four codes, 2DESCENDANTFEST6, TFDSEASON4, THEGREATCLASH, and TFDTOGETHER, and said the codes award Gold, Kuiper Shards, Crystallization Catalysts, and other items depending on the code. They stay active through July 8 at 11:59 PM PDT through Nexon’s coupon page.
