CD Projekt RED is entirely on a roll with the recent announcements for their upcoming blockbuster, Cyberpunk 2077. At this point, any particular info published about Cyberpunk 2077 is a “tease,” as the fans cannot wait for its release. To spice it even further, CDPR has announced yet another sensation coming to Cyberpunk 2077, and that is a multiplayer game mode.
It is one of those situations in which it’s too good to be true. Today, CD Projekt Red has tweeted out that Multiplayer is in the works, and will most likely become available after launch. While everyone believed Cyberpunk 2077 is a single-player game, it turns out to be the opposite.
1/2 Until now, the only thing we said about multi was that it was in R&D. As we’re getting closer to launching ‘single player’ Cyberpunk 2077 in Apr. 2020, we’d like to confirm that multiplayer's in the works! How confident does CD Projekt Red feel when it comes to multiplayer? It’s not one of their characteristics. Nevertheless, we all know that a game in 2020 without a multiplayer is somewhat a degradation for the gaming industry.
Among that, what would Multiplayer Look like in Cyberpunk 2077? If you take a look at the modern setting, player abilities, loot variety, and more, the multiplayer game mode has a vast potential to overwhelm everyone behind the monitors. Being an FPS only would induce much fairer gameplay among others.
But, to cut the predictions out, we have to wait and see for the final release.
