Sunkenland is pushing into The New World, a new chapter that adds a full main questline, extra side missions, fresh locations, and more shops and NPCs.
The story runs across 19 missions and starts with the basics of survival, including scavenging, food, and crafting progress. From there, it ramps into clashes with hostile neighbors, mutants, pirates, slave traffickers, and a militarized faction before sending players beyond the familiar waters.
That new stretch leads to a continent filled with forests, mountains, and rivers, plus ports, artillery batteries, and fortresses along the shoreline. The goal is to work through a chain of strongholds before the campaign reaches its final stretch.

One of the headline locations is the Military Port, an offshore salvage platform stacked with cargo containers, fuel tanks, and crates that serves as the launch point for the assault on the continent. The route also passes through the Elevator Room, a steel-and-concrete interior with a central watchtower and sandbag defenses.

Further inland, The New World adds the Coastal Citadel, Rolling Stone Fortress, and Winding Mountain Fortress, each built around a different piece of the chapter’s coastal war machine. As players free settlements, some of them will open as friendly trading posts with ammunition, salvaged tech, crafting parts, and NPCs tied to the side content.

The side material includes a florist’s parlor tucked inside a steel shelter, along with optional tasks like tracing a distress signal and uncovering a crashed helicopter. The studio said more details will arrive closer to release.
