Shapez 2 left early access and launched in 1.0, giving factory fans a full release that already has mod support and a very warm Steam response. After roughly 18 months in early access, the sequel sits at 94% positive recent reviews.
The jump from the first Shapez is hard to miss. Shapez 2 pushes the series into 3D and keeps the focus on clean layouts, quick copying, and the kind of conveyor-belt logic that makes factory builders click for the people who like them.
Launch support is part of the pitch, too. Mod support is in from day one, which should give players room to tinker once the community starts building around the release. The game is on sale for $23.99 on Steam during the launch period, with the price due to rise to $29.99 / £24.99 on May 7.
