PRAGMATA is climbing Capcom’s Steam ratings faster than expected
The action game launched on April 17 and is already sitting at a 97% positive rating on Steam, putting it near the top of Capcom's PC catalog.

Capcom’s PRAGMATA has come out of the gate strong on PC. Just a few days after its SteamDB page started reflecting player feedback, the game was sitting at a 97% positive rating after launching on Friday, April 17.
That places PRAGMATA among Capcom’s highest-rated Steam releases ever. Its current SteamDB score is 93.87%, which leaves it only a little behind Resident Evil Requiem and just under the company’s top-rated PC release, Resident Evil 4, which is listed at 96.11%.
The result is especially striking considering how long PRAGMATA spent in development. Capcom first announced the game in 2020 and originally targeted a 2022 release before pushing it back to 2023. In September 2025, the game’s director said one reason for the delays was the need to balance its mechanics, with players able to control both Hugo and Diana.
Capcom’s PC run in 2026 has been unusually strong, and PRAGMATA is adding another clean win to that stretch. If you have already spent time with it, share your thoughts in the comments, and follow us on X, Bluesky, YouTube, Instagram.
