Marvel Rivals is adding Blood Hunt, and PvE is clearly not slowing down
NetEase said the new mode arrives on April 23, a week after Season 7.5 begins on April 17.

Marvel Rivals is expanding its PvE side again with Blood Hunt, a new mode that arrives on April 23 as part of Season 7.5.
NetEase showed off the mode during its April 14 Dev Vision video and described Blood Hunt as the next chapter of the game’s PvE plans. The new mode brings four boss battles, a fresh hero progression and trait system, and a new loot system. It also ties into the events of Season 7, when Spider-Man freed heroes from Kingpin’s vault and Dracula escaped with the Nord Stone, setting up the vampire crisis that drives this chapter.
Blood Hunt builds on the PvE direction NetEase has already pushed into the game. Earlier this year, the studio also pointed to broader expansion plans in a FRVR interview, and the new mode lines up with that push. If you want more context on where Marvel Rivals has been heading, our recent look at Marvel Rivals’ PvE player boost shows how strongly these modes can land with players.
Season 7.5 itself will begin on April 17, while Blood Hunt lands a few days later. On the same day, April 23, the 2026 Hellfire Gala will begin too, bringing new cosmetics, including a free Emma Frost skin. NetEase also said Path to Doomsday starts its first phase on April 30 with The Avengers event.
Marvel Rivals keeps leaning harder into PvE, and Blood Hunt looks like the clearest sign yet that NetEase wants that side of the game to keep growing. Tell us what you think in the comments, and follow us on X, Bluesky, YouTube, Instagram.
