Graveyard Keeper is free right now, and its sequel just traded one cemetery for a zombie town
The original management RPG is free on Steam, PlayStation Store, and Xbox storefronts through April 13, while Graveyard Keeper 2 adds army-building, fortifications, and a larger town to run.

Graveyard Keeper is free for a limited time, and the series has also grown a sequel. The original management RPG can be claimed through April 13 on Steam, the PlayStation Store, and the Xbox storefront.
The free offer lands alongside the reveal of Graveyard Keeper 2, which Lazy Bear Games is building as a follow-up to the 2018 original. The sequel keeps the management RPG structure but pushes further into combat, with zombie armies, towers, fortifications, and a larger fight against an impending zombie apocalypse.
In the new game, the role also changes. Instead of running a graveyard, players will manage a town that has been hit by a zombie invasion, restore homes, take on quests, and build up an automated operation with undead soldiers. The Steam page for Graveyard Keeper 2 is live, but there is no release date yet.
If you have been meaning to try the first game, this is a good window to do it. And if you already spent time with the original, the sequel sounds like it is taking the series in a much bigger direction. Share your thoughts in the comments, and follow us on X, Bluesky, YouTube, Instagram.
