Egg-themed Pokémon GO event headed to Europe in early April
An Egg-cellent Adventure runs April 2 at 10:00 a.m. through April 6, 2026 at 8:00 p.m. local time, with Chansey, Exeggcute, and Bunnelby appearing and a Timed Research that rewards a Lucky Egg.

Niantic will run An Egg-cellent Adventure across all European countries where Pokémon GO is available from Thursday, April 2, at 10:00 a.m. to Monday, April 6, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. local time. The event focuses on egg-themed Pokémon, event stickers, and a limited-time timed research.
Wild encounters and bonuses
During the event, the following Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild: Chansey, Exeggcute, and Bunnelby. Trainers will see these specific event features:
- Chansey caught in the wild will have a chance to be holding a Lucky Egg.
- Increased odds to encounter Shiny Exeggcute, Shiny Chansey, and Shiny Bunnelby.
Timed Research details
An Egg-cellent Adventure Timed Research will be available only while the event runs. Completing tasks can grant a Lucky Egg, XP, and encounters with Exeggcute. All Timed Research tasks and their rewards must be completed and claimed before Monday, April 6, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
Stickers and shop items
Event-themed stickers will be obtainable from spinning PokéStops and opening Gifts during the event window. This event is limited to European regions where the game is supported and follows the local-time schedule listed above. Trainers should plan to finish Timed Research before the April 6 deadline to collect all rewards.
