I am just sad whenever I experience an exploit in any video game. Personally, I believe products should be hardly exposed to testing so that these kinds of problems could be eliminated fairly easy. Destiny 2’s most recent exploit, after the Max Power glitch, notices increased activity from which players are trying to gain a significant advantage.
This time it’s a word about a different exploit, and it is found in the newest Menagerie activity in Destiny 2. The new Menagerie exploit allows the players to farm the needed chest easier. There are already a lot of guides on YouTube on how to trigger the exploit that will grant you a chance of getting 5x more loot than normal.
Knowing that today is a patch day as announced by Bungie, the patch 2.5.0.3 will most likely concede the necessary fix to get rid of the Menagerie exploit. More details, however, will have to be discovered when the final patch notes are revealed.
Having the ability for players to find a trigger and receive 5x times more loot than the usual somewhat breaks the integrity of the game. There aren’t people who do not want to delve into the exploit themselves and gather as much as they could.
Now that Destiny 2 is just in the hands of Bungie and no one else, Bungie could improvise on a variety of circumstances without causing any trouble. Listening to its community is one of the hardest things to do, and Bungie knows how to do it accordingly. A win-win situation both for the developer and the players.
Well, guess you were wrong, yay! When i first did the menagerie i noticed there was a huge amount of time after beating it and there must be a reason for it. Im sure they knew we’d quickly find the exploit, i think it was on purpose. Its time consuming enough to farm imperials and theres too many runes to ever even use them all. Imo, this exploit adds to the game, it doesnt take away. Im glad its staying otherwise everyone will complain they have too many runes. Theyve gotten such unanimous praise for menagerie, it would be dumb to change.
