Hmm. We’ve been hearing reports of unidentified Pokémon. 🤔 As Professor Willow looks into these reports, please let us know if you spot anything out of the ordinary in #PokemonGO. pic.twitter.com/S08Fnq5u0Q

The Legendary Trio posted in the picture above is already known. The Legendary Pokemon are Mesprit, Azelf and Uxie. Currently, Azelf has only been reported from the Americas, Mesprit from Europe and Uxie from Asia, which most likely implies on region-based spawns.
We’re still trying to decrypt recent player’s activity and find if the region-based spawn is in power. Nevertheless, the CP of the Lake Trio is unique for all the trainers, without a single variable, while the Catch Rate for the Lake Trio is 1%. No more, no less.
With that being said, this move by Niantic is considered for bold, as it came out of nowhere. Trainers are still being shocked and tired of trying to decrypt what Niantic has thrown at them. Just a little tip: Using Razzberry and Ultra Ball will increase the CR to 7%. This should ease the job of catching the best Legendary Pokemon.
