A new milestone to be cheered for, as Sony claims a new Worldwide number that equates a new achievement. Sony has managed to get over 96.8 million units in Worldwide sales, as it has been incorporated in the last quarter with a wrap-up of the end of the fiscal year on March 31. The consolidated financial results can be found in their official announcement.
As it is claimed there the fiscal year of 2018 has brought a large number of console sales. Up to 17.8 million units have been sold during that period, with the last month’s conclusion of a whole fiscal year. During Q4, there have been 2.6 million units sold, for a total of 17.8 million of a one fiscal year.
Even though Sony is before the invention and potential release of the PS5 throughout the next year, the PS4 seems to be printing money, still. This success has brought Sony to achieving a new milestone, topping their personal prediction.
For the fiscal year, Sony estimates 16 million sales of PS4 units, which is slightly less than their previous assumption.
