Now that EU and US East qualifiers are finished, the Fortnite World Cup Week 1 qualifier moved to US West. The first week World Cup Week 1 qualifier is currently ongoing, as US West participants battle between each other to secure a placement for the finals. A span of high ranked players at the end of the event, from each week, will be invited to the Fortnite World Cup Finals, hosted in New York City on July 26-28.
The US West event has already started. Now that the fan’s favorite and rivalry between the two top Fortnite streamers coming from the US East is over, it is time for the US West qualifier to go on. Even though the lead is currently held by HzExtinct, the current point system could bring another upset. Fortnite’s US West participants are close on total points as it confirms on a tight competition as well as in the previous qualifiers.
Currently, the point system is as follows:
- Victory Royale = +10 points
- 2nd – 5th = +7 points
- 6th – 15th = +5 points
- 16th – 25th = +3 points
- Each Elimination = +1 point
Literally, anything could happen in just a single match, and top-placed players could lose their advantage. Without further ado, let’s take a look at the current standings. Keep in mind that the US West qualifier is still ongoing, so the table will yield placement changes. You can find the standings in the table below (US West Top 10):
