Ready or Not, which trailer has been published a couple of days ago, has seemingly proven its realistic gameplay aspect. Ready or Not is an upcoming video game inspired by the SWAT series, which embraced the devs to make this big of a step. Being a first-person video game, it surely pokes realism.
As a tactical shooter, it is set against a backdrop of political instability in the US. Ready or Not also looks like somewhat a Police simulator, allowing appropriate personas who lack real-life action to satisfy their needs. Being set as a commander of the SWAT force, you will have a lot of power granted in controlling the whole unit.
Below you can find the first gameplay trailer:
According to the developer VOID Interactive, the game will include realistic ballistics penetration, which combined with armor in the game could bring many changes in the genre. It will also include enhanced physics including a ricochet, which is not a too common option among famous shooter video games.
Many players will have the option to tackle down a mission the way they want by first organizing the whole unit. As a commander, you’ll have all the strings in your hand. The commanders will have the power to call out whatever is necessary.
There will be a planning board allowing players to communicate before they launch the mission. Probably one of the most unique features in the game. Being a player vs environment, it will surely poke interest and fun in the genre.
