Darkest Dungeon 2 is on its way. It was today earlier when the developer Red Hook Studios first discovered a sequel to Darkest Dungeon. Darkest Dungeon was a game scheduled to impress the gaming industry, and luckily it managed to do so. Now, another series is on its way after the original successor broke the ice.
This announcement of Darkest Dungeon 2 was crowned with a brand new trailer, in which it showcases something similar to Darkest Dungeon, but more tiring for sure. Its predecessor was considered to be annoying and hard, but this time Darkest Dungeon 2 should include a wider requirement of effort in order to complete the game.
The announcement trailer was posted on their official Twitter profile:

Are you ready for yet another roguelike RPG?
Darkest Dungeon 2 is a role-playing video game developed by Red Hook Studios. Its predecessor was first released on Microsoft Windows and OS X in January 2016, which followed a year-long early access development period.
Darkest Dungeon 2 has no official release date attached. That being said, we’ll have to wait and monitor things tightly.
