Concurrent Players
Steam data shows the game is still hitting more than 300,000 concurrent players on many nights, and Forbes reported a live count of about 170,000 concurrent players at 8 AM ET in its writeup. The SteamDB charts remain the clearest public view of those numbers: SteamDB concurrent figures for ARC Raiders. We also ran coverage of the game’s early server surge when initial numbers climbed; readers can see our earlier report on the server slam, which hit nearly 190K concurrent players on Steam.
Review Scores
Critic scores are strong. The game has an 87 Metascore and a 93 on OpenCritic, which places it among the best-reviewed multiplayer-only shooters on the sites cited. OpenCritic’s summary is available here: ARC Raiders on OpenCritic. This is week one for many players, but the mix of steady technical fixes, some new content bits, and big concurrent numbers is a clear sign the launch has grabbed attention. The patch notes, concurrent counts, and critic scores are worth keeping an eye on as the game settles into its first month of life.
