Arc Raiders hands you the Down to Earth quest once early tasks are done, and yes, it wants you to lug a Field Crate back into a Field Depot and slot it into the supply station, all inside one round. Here is the blunt, useful way to make that happen without running headlong into a robot-shaped problem.
First, head to any Field Depot on the map. Dam Battlegrounds is the friendliest choice for this activity because depots and nearby spawns are compact and easy to sweep. Field Crates are large silver boxes that sit on the ground around depots. There are usually more than one per depot, and the activity can be completed multiple times in the same run if you find extra crates.
How it works, step by step:
- Visit a Field Depot location and search the surrounding area for the silver Field Crate. They can be tucked inside towers, behind cover, or at the base of nearby hills.
- Pick up the crate. Carrying it slows you and marks you as a prize, so clear the area first or bring teammates to watch your back.
- Bring the crate into the Field Depot building and slot it into the supply station machine. That action opens the reward box beside the machine.
- Collect the reward while still in the same round to complete Down to Earth.
Example spawn layout on Dam Battlegrounds: the depot between the Water Towers and the Electrical Substation has four common spawns: two inside different Water Towers, one at the base of hills east of the substation, and one inside the building at the north end of the substation. If that sounds like a lot of places to check, that is intentional; devs want you to look around. You get a pair of binoculars when you accept the quest to help spot crates from a distance. Successful delivery yields a Combat MK.1 augment and a Medium Shield from the reward box.
Want more Arc Raiders context and maps to get your bearings before you go hunting crates? See our previous coverage of the game’s launch maps, and for developer plans that affect live service features, check Embark’s long-term outlook. Clear the depot area before you pick up the crate, move with a partner if possible, and remember that you can repeat the delivery activity more than once per run if you spot extra crates. This is one of those small, fiddly tasks that feel annoying until they are done, and then the rewards make it worthwhile.
