A new leak claims that Stray will be the headline PlayStation Plus Essential game for November, with the package reportedly going live on November 4 for Essential, Extra, and Premium members. The claim comes from a Dealabs post attributed to the leaker Billbil-kun, who says the main title is Annapurna Interactive’s Stray and that two other, unnamed games will join it in the monthly drop. The leak adds that an official announcement is expected on Wednesday.
Stray will not be unfamiliar to many PlayStation players. It originally launched in July 2022 and arrived on PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium on day one before leaving the service roughly a year later. The game earned strong critical praise at release and picked up several awards, including Best Debut at the Game Developers’ Choice Awards and multiple honors at The Game Awards 2022.
If the leak is accurate, members will be able to claim the November titles from November 4. Players who claim games can continue to play them after they leave the free-to-claim window, provided they keep an active PlayStation Plus subscription. If this turns out to be true, it would be another easy grab for subscribers who missed *Stray* the first time it showed up on PlayStation Plus. Wait for the official announcement for confirmation, but mark November 4 as the date to check your library if the leak pans out.
