Once Human will undergo Version 2.1.5 server maintenance on October 15 at 4:00 PM PT, and the patch is expected to take about two hours. The update is sizeable, approximately 4.63 GB for PC launchers, 2.9 GB for the PC client, 147 MB on Android and 328 MB on iOS, so the team recommends downloading over Wi-Fi. The developers warn that Steam updates may sometimes download more than once if the release is delayed.
The patch adds new melee weapons for RaidZone, the first implementation of underwater combat in RaidZone, a Bug Hunt bug-bounty event, a new Battle Pass called Heartbeat Rush, a Lightforge Loot Crate named Scorching Craving, and many construction, interface and combat optimizations. After maintenance, all players will receive Starchrom ×1,000, Mitsuko’s Mark ×100, Starwish Token ×300, Cosmetic Token ×180, and Detoxident ×3.
Here are the highlights to watch for, and the full patch notes follow if you want to read every change.
- RaidZone combat gets two new daggers and an initial form of underwater combat (daggers, grenades, explosives and medicine are usable underwater in RaidZone).
- Bug Hunt, a limited event running Oct 15–Nov 15 (PT), rewards verified bug reports and features a leaderboard and weekly top rewards.
- New cosmetics and shop items: Battle Pass – Heartbeat Rush, Lightforge Loot Crate: Scorching Craving, Halloween-themed sales and various themed packs arriving soon.
