According to the EFT developers, patch 0.11 will deploy by the end of the year and among many core fixes, it will still develop new content. More precisely, the new patch will add a new map and new weapons.
Battlestate Games have been quite active in their work on Escape From Tarkov. They have managed to update the game and fix multiple issues successively, including the introduction of new content.
Moreover, the 0.11 patch will be just the beginning of Escape From Tarkov. Most likely, the game is about to grow even bigger by adding its newly designed Arena gameplay, which will include both PVP and PVE gameplay. Players will be able to queue and step into an Arena to play against each other.
There will be more arena game modes:
- 1v1
- 2v2
- 5v5
- PVE
Even though we’re still missing a correct piece of info, the arena will give a completely different feeling to the game, and will somewhat remove the Survival flavor of it, and without doubt, enlarge the game’s current stance by far. Currently, there is only 1 Arena designed from all the 5 planned.
According to the latest broadcast, Patch 0.11 will be released this year and will probably include Hideout, which according to the report is 98% ready to release.
From all the core issues, new Antialiasing is about to crown the game and maybe enhance its performance, for which has been known quite good that is underperforming.
Like it or not, it definitely sounds scary for all the other Triple-A companies, since Escape From Tarkov, with its current content and the coming one announced, we may receive the next best video game quite soon.
