Embark Studios has confirmed the maps players will find at the ARC Raiders launch. Five distinct zones will be available at release, and one of them – Stella Montis – is being teased as a secret destination. The studio also says maps will shift with weather, time of day, and special conditions that change risk and reward.
Launch maps confirmed
Embark posted the full list of launch maps on their site. For the full announcement, see Embark Studios – Everything You Need to Know.
ARC Raiders launch maps
- Dam Battlegrounds – A mixed landscape of forests, swamps, former research facilities, and residential blocks.
- Buried City – A pre-collapse urban area half-buried in sand.
- The Spaceport – A derelict launch facility and industrial complex filled with old tech and layered interior spaces.
- Blue Gate – A high-altitude region with open plateaus, small settlements, tunnels, and underground installations.
- Stella Montis – Teased as a secret map: Embark says its nature and access remain unclear, making it the most mysterious location on the launch slate.
Maps are designed to be large and varied. Embark says the Rust Belt setting will be a “constant place of change,” meaning each map can present different weather, times of day, and “special conditions” that alter gameplay. Examples include Night Raids, which increase threat but raise rewards; hidden bunkers that add exploration goals; electromagnetic storms; and Harvest Season, which boosts natural resource yields.
Players also have a home base called Speranza, but it is primarily a menu-restricted location rather than an open hub to explore in the field. ARC Raiders is scheduled to launch on October 31, 2025, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Embark continues to run pre-launch playtests, including a Server Slam event before the full release. These tests are intended to give players an early look at maps and systems ahead of launch.
