How many playthroughs are likely required for the platinum trophy?
There is no definitive confirmation yet, but the list suggests at least two playthroughs may be needed. Several trophies are tied to mutually exclusive faction outcomes and story choices, and the game follows the original’s pattern of including difficulty-based trophies. If the game does not grant the Hard trophy automatically when you complete Very Hard, that could force an extra run.
The list also includes a range of collectibles and grindy goals, such as level cap rewards, 100 Pitch/Tossball cards, grounding stations, audio logs, and mural pieces. If any of those are missable and tied to story branches, you may need multiple runs or careful saves to get them all. There are also many miscellaneous and challenge-style trophies – killing enemies with specific weapons or methods, refusing to spend money, or completing faction objectives. Expect to cover a wide range of activities if you are chasing the platinum.
