A new trailer for Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 revealed its voice cast, including actors who have appeared in Cyberpunk 2077, Hitman, Vermintide, and Game of Thrones. The game will launch on October 21. Jane Perry, known for roles like Diana in the Hitman series and Selene in Returnal, plays the refined Lou Graham in Bloodlines 2. Her casting is one of several that point to a veteran list of theatrical and video game voice talents.
Bethan Dixon Bate, who voices Sienna in the Vermintide games and played Vlaakith in Baldur’s Gate 3, is Mrs. Amelia Thorn, who runs a cafe called Wake the Dead in the trailer. The trailer even shows a sign on the cafe that reads DO NOT ASK FOR PUMPKIN SPICE, a small detail that made me smile. She also voiced characters in the Warhammer TV animation Kill Lupercal. Alec Newman, who previously voiced the protagonist in The Chinese Room’s Still (Wakes the Deep) and took on roles such as Adam Smasher in Cyberpunk 2077, appears as Gideon Hall. His casting brings a recognizable voice to one of the game’s lead parts.
Richard Brake, known on television and in film for roles like the Night King in Game of Thrones, plays the Nosferatu Willem Axel in Bloodlines 2. The trailer hints at a darker, stranger presence in that character, and the footage includes a memorable costume choice (that’s the character wearing a bomb vest). The trailer also features lip-syncing that appears to be improved compared to earlier promotional material for Bloodlines 2. Facial animation here is more muted and restrained than the original game’s wider expressions, which appears to be a stylistic choice to keep scenes low-key.
Players will get a fuller sense of how these performances fit the game when Bloodlines 2 launches, and I invite you to share your thoughts in the comments below. Follow us on X and Bluesky.
