Battlefield 6 will include a Free Battle Royale, Leaked POIs and a Lethal Circle

Battlefield 6 will feature a free-to-play battle royale mode, and leaks, along with official comments, have already provided an early glimpse into how it will play and where battles will take place. A rumored October 28 launch date is circulating, and to hype it even more, EA has confirmed that the BR circle will instantly kill players who touch it.

Battlefield 6 appears to be returning to what made the series famous, with an online multiplayer suite and a campaign, and the franchise is also doubling down on battle royale. The game’s broader launch momentum stemmed from the Open Beta, and the full game is scheduled to arrive in early October; however, the BR mode is not expected to be available on day one.

There’s no official date from EA, DICE, or Battlefield Studios, but a widely circulated report says the BR mode is planned for October 28, which would be 18 days after the main launch.

Does the ring kill you instantly?

According to EA, the BR ring is unforgiving. In a community update, EA wrote that the ring will instantly kill players on contact. There will be urgent warnings as the fire approaches, but there will be no slipping through the damage to use the ring for cover or to re-enter for tactical advantage. EA’s community update is available on their site.
