Dead by Daylight‘s Chapter 37 is now live, introducing The Krasue and a new Survivor named Vee. However, Behaviour Interactive has announced that it will change how content is shipped, making the game easier to approach and maintain.
The Krasue is an original Killer rooted in Thai folklore, built around two distinct forms that allow it to burst free from a human host and hunt like a parasitic entity, while Vee brings a Survivor’s perspective from the same culture. The chapter underlines Behaviour’s push for original, culturally specific characters as much as crossover additions.
That ambition has a cost. Behaviour has announced an action plan that will delay the November licensed chapter, allowing the studio to focus on bug fixes, balance, and the game’s growing complexity. The company wants the experience to be simpler to pick up and easier for the team to support. Chapter cadence will change, though Killers, Survivors, perks, and other staples are not going away. The team is also testing other routes, including limited-time events and modes, as well as different ways of delivering content, so players always have something fresh without the same strain on the live service.
