Blizzard pushed a significant hotfix package for World of Warcraft today that adjusts classes, delves, dungeons, and raid encounters as part of the patch 11.2 updates applied on September 9. The changes reduce several raid and Delve mechanics while buffing or tuning many class talents and PvP numbers, altering how groups approach difficult content.
The package encompasses a broad range of changes, including class buffs and nerfs, Delve enemy adjustments, raid tuning across Mythic, and numerous PvP number tweaks that alter the competitive balance. Many of the raid nerfs are focused on Mythic difficulty, trimming damage, reducing add counts, and slightly lowering health on specific bosses to make encounters more manageable for groups failing to clear them on schedule. Class changes range from modest damage increases for Death Knights and Hunters to larger heals and tweaks for Priests and Evokers. PvP received a suite of targeted number shifts that will affect several specs and trinket interactions.
Smaller adjustments landed across PvP and items. Timewalking loot and a Manaforge Vandals tooltip were addressed, though the tooltip will be temporarily incorrect until a later hotfix.
