Ready or Not developer VOID Interactive published Community Content Exhibit Vol. 21, a newsletter that recaps the studio’s PAX West appearance and outlines upcoming merchandise and community activity. The entry covers the full booth at PAX West 2025 over Labor Day weekend and points readers to a partner-run tournament Discord.
VOID Interactive appeared at PAX West with a full booth placed across from Capcom, which helped visibility and foot traffic for demos. The studio’s previous public showing was a much smaller presence at Dreamhack 2019 with an early build of the game. The newsletter includes side-by-side images from Dreamhack and the PAX booth to show the difference in scale. Lines formed quickly each day.
Player reactions at the booth varied; testers came from horror, shooter, and non-FPS backgrounds and each group approached scenarios differently. Thousands of players stopped by the Ready or Not booth over four days, offering hands-on time across a wide range of player backgrounds, from horror fans to traditional FPS players. Some attendees displayed long-term support, even producing proof of past purchases and a shipping notice for a 2019 supporter mousepad. That kind of continuity underlines the game’s steady relationship with its community.
The newsletter also highlights merch plans revealed at PAX, including LSPD patches and new desk mats that will be available later this year and a collaboration with Starforge PCs to produce a custom Ready or Not themed PC case, which is expected to go on sale sometime next year. Photos of prototype merch and the booth’s merch displays accompany the write-up. The studio noted an interest in expanding IRL events and fan-facing items as part of ongoing community efforts.
