STALKER 2, developed by GSC Game World, is shining thanks to modders. There’s a new mod by ScepraX labeled v1.5, which improves enemy equipment and loot so foes can spawn with attachments, stronger ammo and upgraded protective gear in the world.
Mod changes apply across most human factions, including Duty, Freedom, Bandits, Monolith, Mercenaries, Military, Scientists and more. Weapons have a 50% chance to come with attachments and armor or helmets have a 50% chance to be upgraded after about one in-game hour; some randomly placed dead bodies will drop the same loot. It’s compatible with most other mods and the loot includes armor, helmets, attachments, detectors and artifacts.
The mod uses refurl, so it doesn’t replace original game files and should work alongside other popular community tweaks. ScepraX’s Nexus Mods page hosts the download and the full installation notes: ScepraX’s Nexus Mods page.
Version v1.5 also brings new weapons added to enemy pools, and enemy ammo scales up with player rank to keep combat challenging. The changes appear in the live world roughly an hour after loading, so sleeping or fast-forwarding time will make the upgraded loot visible on human corpses. Players who enjoy heavier encounters and more rewarding salvaged gear will find the mod alters loot pacing noticeably.
