Arma Reforger, from Bohemia Interactive, published its monthly Community Radar this month as COMRAD #20, collecting standout player made maps, mods and media. The round-up matters because it points players to creator work and a central hub where community projects get visibility.

COMRAD is a rotating selection of community content picked from forums, platform posts and creator submissions. Players will find maps, scenario packs, screenshots and videos gathered into one place for easier discovery and downloading. The feature helps small creator projects get noticed without digging through dozens of threads.

Submission tips and calls for entries are handled by the platform team and community coordinators, with tag requests such as ArmaPlatform or the #ArmaReforger hashtag suggested for quick discovery. While social handles and forums are used for suggestions, the central Community Radar page is the authoritative list for this month’s picks. The roster of entries changes each month, so fresh projects appear regularly and creators can expect periodic attention.

You can find the picks below:

COM-ART

Starting us off strong is this great image by DIMKII, capturing Soviet motorized and naval infantry working together in a joint operation on the island of Everon. The soldiers contrast beautifully against the mountainous background. This image is an excellent example of effective depth, and we love the subtle showcase of some new items from 1.5 Experimental.

Speaking of showcasing the 1.5 update, DriftyTime has put together a great series of images that highlight some of the new assets and additions on the way. There is a lot to look forward to, and it’s a great preview to see some of the things to come.

Zimmer really turns up the heat with this intense set of screenshots, where the glow of fire casts soldiers in some awesome, dramatic lighting. The close-up detail really makes it feel like stills from a movie. There is a wider image taken, but these tighter shots really add some grit, utilizing the chiaroscuro technique very well.

Using the British Forces mod, thebuckfastwine showcases the equipment, gear, and vehicles from some of the latest updates to the mod in this well-put-together scene. Lynx helicopters are lifting troops and supplies to the frontline, and what they’re preparing for… only Everon knows.

Talk about dropping the hammer! ReapingVulture nails this shot of a mortar sending rounds skyward. Great timing catching the shell mid-flight, and a nice tough with the smoking cloud from the tube. Since mortars were introduced to the game, players certainly have had to keep on the move. Great shot (pun intended)!

Rolling through the grasslands in style, this LAV-25 sports an Australian Army texture thanks to Tonnie’s Aussies mod. With the soldier stepping in alongside it, this shot by Holt from our Discord really stood out to us, and we couldn’t pass up showcasing the LAV!

COM-DEV

If you ever played Arma 3, you might remember this prominent feature that has now been modded into Reforger. The Map Drawing mod by TilW lets you freely sketch on the in-game map. Great for tactical planning, quick comms, or just doodling when you’re bored at HQ. You can customize colors, line widths, and even set visibility for just your faction, server, or private use, all with a radial menu or chat commands. It’s optimized for multiplayer and super straightforward to use. Just hold Shift and start drawing!

The Norwegian Armed Forces Mod (NORMOD) just keeps getting better! Recent updates have added even more gear and uniforms, including the iconic NorArm Kandahar combat shirt and pants in multiple camos. They’ve even dropped a trailer to show it all off. To complement their equipment and units, the team also dropped Lofoten! A sprawling 32×20 km arctic terrain based on the real region in Norway. With its rough fjords, jagged mountains, fishing villages, and even an airfield, it’s an authentic backdrop that brings NORMOD’s assets to life. Join their Discord to get sneak peeks and updates!

The French Reforger Mod team is really going all-in with their MANW entry, bringing the French Armed Forces into Arma Reforger with a full suite of content. From modern vehicles like the VT4 Trapper and VBMR Griffon, to iconic weapons like the AANF1, and even helicopters such as the SA342 Gazelle and Alouette III (in collaboration with Bushwar), this project offers lots of options. It’s designed to let you step fully into the boots of a French soldier and hit the battlefield with authentic gear, vehicles, and air support. Definitely one to keep an eye on, and you can stay up to date on their progress in their Discord!

If you’re after something truly unique, we recommend looking no further than Novka created by Kaffeina. This modded terrain delivers a frozen, snow-covered landscape like no other. It drops you into an arctic wasteland packed with towering mountains, frozen seas, dynamic snow mechanics, and even Northern Lights illuminating the night sky. Bridges and tunnels can be blown up as a tactical option. Beyond the normal Conflict and Game Master game modes, it also comes with a singleplayer scenario called “Behind Red Lines,” a small mission where you move into enemy lines to sabotage their supply lines. Definitely worth checking out if you’ve been craving a snowy combat environment.

Join the resistance! In Freedom Fighters, by JohnnyKerner, you’ll play in a persistent, open-world guerrilla campaign designed for solo players or small cooperative groups. With 10–60 hours of gameplay depending on settings, you’ll build bases, stockpile supplies, rally local support, and fight to liberate an entire map at your own pace. Inspired by classics like Antistasi and Overthrow from Arma 3, this scenario is well-suited for both short operations and long-running resistance wars. Tell your friends to join up and play!

ARMA-RY is a series of Cold War-themed mod packs designed to expand on Arma Reforger’s 1989 setting. They not only add a wide range of weapons and gear that fit alongside vanilla assets, but can be used as a foundation for other modders to build their own factions and scenarios. This mod provides a modular and optimized framework, ready to be integrated into your gameplay or server. There are plans to expand, and you can get started firing the modded G3 today! They’ve also included a helpful introduction video that provides more detail on YouTube.

COM-OPS

Reforger has a way of creating those wild, movie-like moments without you even trying… and that’s the magic of it. Everything just unfolds naturally, like in this short clip from forestdump where the mix of chaos and action lines up perfectly. No matter how many matches you play, no two experiences are exactly alike. We love it when players share their unique experiences with us and the community.

If you’re after something a little more structured in your Arma Reforger sessions, there are tons of groups and units out there always looking for new players – whether you’re a complete beginner or a long-time veteran. Globe Conflicts, for example, runs weekly sessions where its community organizes to play cooperative and adversarial scenarios. Check them out by hopping into their Discord, or taking a look at their website!

If it still doesn’t seem like a fit, join the official Arma Platform Discord to link up with thousands of players and find the squad that matches your playstyle.

As you’ve probably heard, the submission phase for Make Arma Not War 2025 has officially come to a close! With over 200 mods submitted, the jury is already hard at work reviewing them to narrow down the selection to finalists and, eventually, the winners. In the meantime, you can browse all the entries on our website, try them out in-game, and see which ones are your favorites. We want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who participated and submitted. We can’t wait to share the next stage with you soon!

Keeping with the spirit of Make Arma Not War, our Don’t Fight Alone Initiative is still going strong. We’ve been hosting special play sessions, raising awareness, and supporting our partner Stack Up to promote a safe and fun space for everyone in the community. So far, we’ve raised over $3,200 with the help of players like you, and we can’t thank you enough. Every single dollar goes toward helping veterans and those struggling with mental health. If you’d like to make a donation, you can do so over on Tiltify.

COM-VIDEO

Getting shot at is stressful… but knowing how to react makes all the difference. That’s why in this video, Haebyung Dance breaks down how to handle enemy contact, drawing from real-world military knowledge. It’s a solid guide for players who want to learn and perhaps stay alive a little longer in the fight.

If anyone ever doubts just how wild Arma can get, point them straight to this video. Beeb1up and her team go head-to-head against… robots?!… in the ruins of Temppa’s Anizay terrain, where lasers shoot across the air, metal gets shredded, and chaos is everywhere. You can also catch the dual perspective from Task Force Gaming as they fight side by side in this absolutely nuts battle that feels more like sci-fi film than milsim – but that’s what you can expect in a military sandbox!

King Alex turns stealth into a bit of comedy in his latest video. Sneaking up on clueless marksmen, he shows just how far patience and awareness (or lack thereof) can go in battle. Packed with sneaky attacks and hilarious takedowns, it’s a fun reminder that you’re never as safe as you think you are.

Ceb Cin is back with part two of his Cinematic Tutorials, working in the Enfusion Engine and Workbench to showcase some practical tips and tricks for creating your own scenes. He walks through how to set up shots, use the tools, and build the kind of polished visuals that stand out – like this great example made by yepperzz. If you’ve ever wanted to try your hand at Armachinima, give this a watch.

COM-STREAM

That’s right! The COM-STREAM section is back, and we’re kicking it off with none other than the always entertaining Martin Walsh. He’s a long-time British streamer, video creator, and dedicated gamer. Martin is live or posting content almost daily, showcasing military FPS titles, with Arma at the forefront. Whether it’s a gameplay video or a laid-back stream, his positive, easygoing attitude makes him great to watch. Be sure to catch him live on YouTube!

For anyone who enjoys Reforger with a side of humor and chaos, Meg_Lemon is one to watch. Her Twitch streams are packed with laughs, modded gameplay, and the occasional flipped vehicle (she swears she can drive). Between firefights and funny moments, you’ll also sometimes catch her dog Whiskii stealing the spotlight. With high-energy banter and a positive, welcoming space, Meg’s channel is a great spot to hang out and enjoy Arma alongside other variety games.

Roboturner is a Canadian streamer who focuses on Arma and DayZ, building a welcoming community around tactical gameplay and variety content. Passionate about Arma, he’s working hard to turn streaming into a full-time career, and his channel is a fantastic place to hang out, chat, and enjoy gameplay like vanilla Conflict, King of the Hill, and other modded servers. Did we mention he’s also a metal vocalist who makes music? Head over to Twitch and watch him live!

For hardcore Reforgers fan, look no further than Riotmaker650! He’s streaming and posting Arma Reforger content almost daily, covering everything from vanilla to modded gameplay. Whether he’s blowing up enemy vehicles, sneaking behind lines, or breaking things down with tips for both new and veteran players, his content is always packed with something new. You can catch him on YouTube fighting across the islands of the Armaverse; it’s definitely worth subscribing to if you’re looking for consistent, quality Arma content.
