Hollow Knight Silksong, developed by Team Cherry, has received an updated set of system requirements ahead of its confirmed release. The change matters because the specs are slightly more demanding, and they were announced very close to launch, so checking hardware now will save setup time.
The updated requirements are only slightly higher than those for the 2017 original, so most machines from the past decade should meet the entry-level specifications. Only the graphics and memory recommendations increase noticeably, and they remain within typical mid-range hardware. That means players upgrading for this release will rarely need the very top-tier components, and a mid-range rig often suffices.
