TYLOO has added 18-year-old Moses ‘Splash’ Jonathan to their VALORANT squad, the organisation announced on X. Splash joins after time with RRQ Academy and will be part of TYLOO’s lineup for the China Evolution Series Act 3, which runs from August 28 until September 7.
TYLOO’s announcement on X confirms the signing of Moses ‘Splash’ Jonathan. Splash had been with RRQ Academy after starting his pro path at NEXGA, and he only recently turned 18, so he’s now eligible to play on the official VCT circuit.

TYLOO was founded in 2007 and became one of China’s early Counter-Strike outfits after 2010. The organisation entered VALORANT in 2023 and later became one of Riot Games’ Partner Teams when China received a dedicated VCT league.
Results have been off and on for TYLOO, and the team has seen several roster changes over recent seasons. Most recently, they lost Zhang ‘zjc’ Juncheng to the 2024 Champions winner EDward Gaming.
After those changes, TYLOO now lists eight active players on the roster:
- Ding ‘Ninebody’ Yi
- Sun ‘slowly’ Kelun
- Xu ‘Waituu’ Yinze
- Zhang ‘Scales’ Zhen
- Hsu ‘Yoyo’ Yuh-siang
- Li ‘sword9’ Wei
- Moses ‘Splash’ Jonathan
- ‘xihe’
Who is TYLOO’s New VALORANT Player?
Splash is a young duelist and initiator who began his VALORANT esports career in 2023 with NEXGA. Between late 2024 and March 2025 he represented RRQ Academy in the VALORANT Challengers Southeast Asia circuit, picking up a fourth place in Challengers 2024 Malaysia and Singapore: Split 1 and a second place at Predator League Singapore 2025.
For his first event under the TYLOO badge, Splash will play at the VALORANT China Evolution Series Act 3. As reported by VALO2ASIA, TYLOO faces Titan Esports Club or Dragon Ranger Gaming to open on August 30. Scales, slowly, sword9, and waituu are expected to start the match, while Yoyo, Ninebody, and xihe will sit out.
It’s a lot to take in for a newcomer, and Splash might bring some fresh aggression to TYLOO’s set-ups – well, that’s the hope. Please share your thoughts in the comments below and tell us what you think Splash will add to TYLOO.
