After lots of gameplay changes towards a better place, Ubisoft has decided to raise their supportive side by strictly limiting the profanity during these days. Namely, starting from now, players will no longer be available to use Racial or any other type of Slurs.
As it just happened to a guy who just received a ban for filtering at least two letters from a racial slur, Ubisoft has greeted the ban on their Twitter Profile. Therefore, saying “nibba” could also get you in trouble. You can preview the tweet below:
Good.

Ubisoft’s intention is to clear the toxicity at the best possible level successfully. Therefore, they’re intending to raise the level of filtering by possibly adding an enhanced chat filter that will allow players to choose their options accordingly to their will. As stated on PCGamer:
Our team is working on the creation of an automated system that will censor text chat in-game based on a chat filter list. This will replace words that have been identified as offensive and provide players with a notification that their language was found to be unacceptable. We will also be tracking the number of times players trigger this filter and will take action as necessary for players that are intentionally having a negative impact on other player’s gaming experience.
Not only shall it change the player’s behavior, but will also contribute to calmer and more productive gameplay.
These types of bans are most likely to be temporary, as in most of the modern games nowadays. However, after each consecutive ban, it may scale so will increase the next ban’s timing. It is good to see developer’s caring for their community as no one’s born to be suffocated in his most favorite video games, no matter what branch it is.
