Farlight 84 players will get an update on August 21 with no server downtime required. The patch focuses on balancing a key tactical skill, fixing weapon mechanics, and resolving several map and animation glitches. It’s not flashy, but it matters for smoother gameplay and fewer headaches.
Phantom’s Tactical Skill Origem Trap got its trigger and damage range height reduced. Not a huge change, but it might affect how often you get caught by it or how you set it up. Also, the chance of the Time Dominator showing up when a second Archon Buddy spawns has been nudged slightly higher, maybe to spice up those moments.
Weapon handling saw some love, too. Shotgun ADS (aim down sights) behavior was tweaked so the bullet spread tightens gradually instead of instantly. So you won’t get a weird jump in accuracy the moment you ADS. Double-tapping the fire button on the Striker-12 shotgun won’t cause laggy shots anymore either, which should feel smoother in fast firefights.
Map bugs and oddities got cleaned up across Nextara and Sunder Realms. Floating vegetation, mountain collisions, out-of-bounds detection, and drone flight paths near the Drilling Platform are all fixed. It’s kinda impressive how many tiny things can mess with the flow until someone finally addresses them.
Character and animation fixes also landed. Momoi won’t spawn stuck in water or glitch when using her Tactical Skill on mobile, and Nimbus’s flight mechanics got capped and smoothed out. Voice line subtitles for Ducksyde now match up properly, and some skin display issues have been corrected. Even the mic noise on PC is dialed down.

Nothing here screams game-changer, but those little annoyances can grind your gears mid-match. Fixing them quietly in the background is the kind of work that keeps a multiplayer shooter from feeling broken or sloppy. Ever wonder why some games never quite feel right? Maybe it’s the floating bushes or wonky hitboxes nobody bothered to patch.
