Fans of the dictator-simulation series have a new chapter to look forward to, as Tropico 7 has been officially announced with a 2026 release date. The reveal came during the Xbox Gamescom showcase, confirming that the game will launch on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. It will also be available on Xbox Game Pass from day one.
Surprisingly, the announcement was pretty bare-bones. No gameplay footage or details about what new features or twists Tropico 7 might bring were shared. It’s kinda weird to get just a teaser with no hints on how the series will evolve this time around. Maybe they’re saving all the juicy stuff for later?
