Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is bringing something new to the table with its upcoming campaign. For the first time, players will be able to team up in a four-player co-op mode, a feature revealed during Gamescom Opening Night Live. This shift in gameplay might change how the campaign is experienced, adding a cooperative twist to the usual solo missions.
Scheduled for release on November 14, Black Ops 7 will also be accessible through Xbox Game Pass again, which is great news for subscribers. Alongside the co-op reveal, a 32-player multiplayer mode set on the Avalon map was confirmed. This mode will be part of the campaign and replayable once the main story wraps up. Kind of a nice way to extend the gameplay beyond the campaign’s end, right?
Curious how four-player co-op will affect the campaign’s pacing and story delivery? I wonder if it will feel seamless or a bit crowded with four players running around. The Avalon 32-player mode also raises questions about balance and map design for such a large player count within a campaign context. Wow, that’s quite a mix of solo and large-scale multiplayer elements.
