Blizzard has rolled out some fresh adjustments to World of Warcraft‘s Mythic+ dungeons this weekly reset, focusing on Ara-Kara and Tazavesh. Players will notice a few nerfs that might change how they approach these dungeons, including a slight increase to the Mythic+ timer for Tazavesh. These tweaks follow last week’s bigger tuning pass, so the changes keep coming.
Ara-Kara, City of Echoes
- Avanoxx: Gossamer Onslaught’s missile damage has been cut by half. That should ease the pressure a bit on healers and tanks dealing with this mechanic.
Tazavesh, the Veiled Market
- Mythic+ timer bumped from 34 minutes to 35 minutes. One minute might not sound like much, but in timed runs, every second counts.
- P.O.S.T. Master: Now starts gaining energy after 12 seconds of casting Unstable Goods instead of 6 seconds. This means the boss’s energy buildup slows down, potentially giving groups a bit more breathing room.
- Myza’s Oasis: The total number of enemy waves has been reduced from 3 to 2. That’s a straightforward nerf that should help groups push through faster.
- Commander Zo’far: Health has been lowered by 16%, but the enemy forces value he grants has increased by 25%. A curious combo, less health but more pressure on force count.
These adjustments seem aimed at balancing difficulty and pacing, but why increase the timer while nerfing some mechanics? Maybe Blizzard wants to give groups a bit more wiggle room without making the dungeons too easy. Or maybe they’re testing how these changes affect the flow of runs.
What do you think? Are these changes going to make Ara-Kara and Tazavesh more manageable or shuffle the challenge around? Yikes, balancing Mythic+ is never simple.
