Spirit Clinch Third Straight Win Over MOUZ to Secure BLAST Bounty Grand Final Spot

Spirit have secured their place in the BLAST Bounty 2025 Season 2 Finals grand final by defeating MOUZ for the third consecutive time. The match was a repeat of their recent IEM Cologne encounters, with MOUZ showing promise but ultimately falling short again.

MOUZ looked strong on Ancient’s CT side, but Spirit managed a comeback thanks largely to Leonid “chopper” Vishnyakov, whose high impact and crucial flanks helped turn the tide. Despite Dorian “xertioN” Berman outperforming Danil “donk” Kryshkovets in some exchanges, MOUZ couldn’t close out the map.

Spirit pushed the first map to overtime from a 10-12 deficit. Donk woke up in overtime, delivering four multi-kills that sealed a 16-14 win for Spirit. The momentum carried into Mirage, where Spirit dominated with a strong CT side to close the series 2-0, 13-5.

Ivan “zweih” Gogin, Spirit’s newest addition, delivered his best performance yet in the team jersey. The 17-year-old showed up big on Mirage with a 1.89 rating and contributed key plays on Ancient, helping Spirit recover from an early deficit.

Spirit’s win marks their third straight victory over MOUZ in just a few weeks, confirming their strong form heading into the grand final. MOUZ, ranked #2, will need to rethink their approach if they want to break this losing streak. Spirit’s next challenge awaits in the grand final, where their form against MOUZ gives them a psychological edge.
