F1 25 just got a fresh update that tackles some pesky issues and tweaks a few things that players have been talking about. Patch 1.11 is here to fix pitstop rules, sharpen track limits, and add support for new racing wheels. Plus, there’s a hint at a bigger AI update coming soon.
Patch 1.11 started rolling out on Monday, August 18, at 10 am UTC. You’ll want to be online to grab it on PC or console. Let’s break down what’s new and fixed.
Patch 1.11 Highlights
- Fixed a bug at Monaco where the two pitstop rule wasn’t being enforced properly. Yikes, that could’ve messed with some races.
- Track limit rules in Time Trial mode got tightened up to catch more minor infractions that were slipping through before.

Vehicles
- Brake and wet weather lights now show correctly when Path Tracing is enabled on PC.
- APXGP cars got their Mercedes engine audio fixed across all modes.
- Added a DRS indicator light on APXGP cars’ steering wheels.
- Fixed a visual bug where a fully damaged Red Bull front wing didn’t look properly wrecked.
Career Mode
- Facility Upgrades balancing improved in My Team career mode.
Multiplayer
- Fixed an issue where switching car categories as a lobby host could hide the Select Livery tab for others.
Peripherals Support
- Added support for Turtle Beach VelocityOne™ Race KD3 Racing Wheel & Pedals, VelocityOne™ F-RX Formula Wheel, and Turtle Beach Racer Wireless Racing Wheel.
Audio
- Fixed the Engineer calling out wrong driver names when they enter the pits.
UI
- Moved the “Time Remaining” display below “Best,” “Previous,” and “Delta” during Qualifying sessions. These elements can now be repositioned in the OSD customization menu.
Miscellaneous
- Tyre compounds updated at Montreal, Silverstone, and Spa to better match real life.
- Fixed minor placement and appearance issues in the Decal Editor for numbers and sponsors.
- Various UI improvements and general stability fixes.
AI Update Coming Soon
Community feedback about AI acceleration, traction out of corners, and wet weather performance has been loud and clear. The devs are working on an AI enhancement that’s planned to launch with Season 3 in mid-September. Details will come once it’s ready.
