Yikes, quite a bit to unpack here. Ever wondered why some nights in DayZ felt oddly bright? Well, that’s because the devs switched nights on official first-person servers to be brighter now. Guess they figured it might help with visibility without ruining the atmosphere.
New clothing, like the bear and fox headdresses, adds some flair, and the new underground bunker section on Burukan island should give explorers a fresh place to check out. Though, it’s kinda funny that bodies on Sakhal were attracting flies despite the cold, fixed now, thankfully. One odd thing is the PLAY button glitch in the main menu that doesn’t connect you to the last server played. Wonder why that slipped through? Hopefully, it’ll get sorted soon.
For anyone playing on Linux community servers, freezing issues are being looked into, so hang tight. It’s good to see Bohemia Interactive taking feedback seriously, as players can submit their thoughts on the Feedback Tracker. Before you jump in, it’s recommended to verify your game files and maybe defragment your HDD if you’re still using one, to avoid any corrupted data after the update.
