If you ever wondered what it might feel like to be stuck inside 2B’s walls, The First Descendant just gave you a trailer that’s kinda close. Nexon’s free-to-play looter shooter is teasing its collaboration with Nier Automata by introducing pleather-clad 2B and A2 skins, and the new 16-second trailer is oddly hypnotic, like a ghost world where androids pose and gravity gets all weird.
The developer tweeted this clip, inviting players to “witness the beauty and power of 2B and A2,” and wow, they really delivered on the beauty part, but the power? That’s more up for debate. The trailer zooms in close, lingers on androids standing with one hand on their hips, shifting slightly, and just… existing. It’s enough to make you wonder if you’re watching an art piece or a new kind of torture.
One Twitter user responded with a sober “Glory to Mankind,” which sounds more like a reaction to a historical tragedy than androids subtly moving their shoulders. And then there’s the crowd of fans who aren’t satisfied with just the default skins, someone actually asked for a pregnancy version of the outfits. Seriously? Guess everyone has their own taste.
Another fan took a magnifying glass to 2B’s face and noticed the blindfold looks like wrinkled skin, the hair is more blonde-grey than white, and a tiny mole is missing. This level of scrutiny is impressive and kinda hilarious. Maybe the devs will tweak that for the purists.
On a related note, the First Descendant devs recently announced they’ll be adding the much-requested “jiggle physics” to the game. So yeah, the team is listening to fans’… specific demands.
Check out the trailer below and see if it gives you the same strange feeling of being trapped inside 2B’s world:

What do you think? Is this collab a cool way to bring Nier Automata vibes into a looter shooter, or is it just a weird flex on android posing? Let me know in the comments below.
