Wuchang: Fallen Feathers has just received a fresh 1.3 update that tackles one of the game’s biggest headaches: landmines. Players will find these traps much less brutal now, and as a sweet bonus, everyone gets the Original Soundtrack DLC for free due to a previous content hiccup. Additionally, there are some notable new performance enhancements that may improve your gameplay experience.
Changes in the 1.3 Update
Leenzee, the developer, heard the community loud and clear about those pesky landmines. In this update, the number of landmines is reduced and their damage output lowered, which should make encounters feel fairer and less frustrating. It’s a welcome change for anyone who’s ever felt like they were walking through a minefield, literally!
Besides gameplay balance, the update introduces new options to tweak performance. Low Latency Mode is no longer on by default, but you can toggle it manually. Supersampling limits have been adjusted for certain GPUs to prevent performance drops, and there’s VRAM optimization targeting both low-end and high-end graphics cards to reduce crashes and stutters caused by memory issues.
Bug Fixes & Stability Improvements
- Fixed a crash happening right after the company logo during startup.
- Smoothed out stutter during finisher animations on some hardware setups.
- Corrected content rewards for both Standard and Deluxe Edition players. Deluxe Edition owners will have to log in and claim their rewards at the donation box in Reverent Temple.
- All owners receive the Original Soundtrack DLC for free as compensation for a pre-order bonus redemption mistake.
Gameplay Balance Adjustments
- Landmine encounters rebalanced with fewer traps and reduced damage.
If you’ve struggled with the landmines, this update might just save your sanity. And hey, getting a free soundtrack? That’s a nice little surprise, don’t you think?
